The British Horological Institute. This is a very good site with many pages including links to other commercial and non commercial sites and a list of repairers in each county.		American Watchmakers Institute. This is similar to The British Horological Institute and is well worth a visit.
The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc. This is a very good site for the collector.		Horological Web ring. This has some interesting sites listed.

The Antiquarian Horological Society A very good Society to join for the horologist who is interested in older mechanisms.

H. J. Richards & Son. This is H. J. Richards & son's web site it has jewelry watches and sculpture on it.		R.C.H.Antique Clocks A clock dealer who has some good quality clocks and very often a selection of lantern clocks.
Derek Roberts Clocks. This is an extremely well put together sit on antique clocks also includes Barometers Books and other relevant items.		WatchBasics.com Rolex and Omega watch accessories. Includes a newsletter.

Non Horological sites
Claymills Pumping station Burton on Trent. This is a Victorian sewerage pumping station with 4 large steam engines and numerous small ones. Their is a large Victorian workshop with working machines driven by steam, also a very fine DC generating system. Leawood Pump Situated in the Derwent valley in Derbyshire, this 1849 steam engine pumps water from the river into the canal. It is a not well known gem of the Cromford canal, still in excellent condition and doing its original job. (Note opening times)		Cromford Canal restoration The Friends of Cromford Canal is a group who need support in trying to restore the canal for navigation.
